Green Pea Soup with Wild Garlic and Spinach

  1. 300 g green peas
  2. a handful of spinach
  3. a handful of wild garlic
  4. 2 Tbsp oats
  5. salt, pepper
To serve
  1. sour cream / yoghurt
  2. croutons
  1. Combine peas with enough fresh water to cover it in a small pot. Add oats and salt, bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for up to 15 minutes (until peas are tender).
  2. Add spinach and wild garlic. Cook another 3 minutes.
  3. Using a stick blender, blitz the vegetables until smooth but the soup still has texture – if desired, thin the soup with a little more water. Remove the soup from the heat, test if any extra seasoning.
  4. Add some sour cream/yoghurt and top with croutons when serving.

Grahova juha s čemažem in špinačo

  1. 300 g graha
  2. pest špinače
  3. pest čemaževih listov
  4. 2 žlici ovsehih kosmičev
  5. sol, poper
  1. kisla smetana / jogurt
  2. opečene kruhove kocke
  1. Grah splaknemo in damo v lonec. Prelijemo z vodo, da je dobro prekrit. Ko zavre, nekoliko zmanjšamo ogenj, vmešamo 2 žlici ovsehih kosmičev in začinimo. Kuhamo 15 minut.
  2. Nekaj minut pred koncem dodamo v lonec še koprive in čemaž. Ko je juha kuhana, jo zmeljemo s paličnim mešalnikom. Po želji dodamo še nekaj vode in dodatno začinimo.
  3. Postrežemo s kislo smetano in potresemo s kruhovimi kockami.
